Is home bargains still open? Is it acceptable to go in and get a few Easter treats for friend's children (to leave at their doorstep or is this just not ok?
I haven't had my daily exercise today and can walk there so I wouldn't be making an unnecessary journey in a car.

I'd probably pick up some snacks and milk while there too.

But if it is not ok then it isn't a problem- my friends kids can have easter stuff at a much later date!

Yes home bargains is open. Probably isnt essential but is a nice thought

Lidl is open and has some lovely treats if you have one locally. (I plan to do this and buy plants and my groceries as it's very quiet where we live and I go 20 mind before closing time)

Sorry if home bargains is near I would (if you need milk etc why not)

PurpleDaisies · 31/03/2020 16:07

I wouldn’t hesitate to go to home bargains. They sell food. The big supermarkets are still selling clothes, toys, home stuff etc.

Just go when you need to buy other things so you’re doing one shop not lots of little ones.

Thanks all. I did think about lidl but since I don't need a full shop I didn't want to take the space of someone who does. I felt maybe home bargains may be less busy. I think I might walk over and if it is busy I'll just not go.

I just didn't want to be doing something 'wrong '

Thanks @PurpleDaisies
That's what I was thinking too. I need to get a new baby card and present to post too so was thinking i could get all at the same time. I probably won't need the supermarket for about a week from now.
