Feeling dreadful again- please help

So this is the map of my symptoms so far I think- feeling really dreadful today & the worst I have felt and I am really scared:

Days 1-4 tickly throat/ burning lungs/ mild chills
Days 4,5,6 in bed feeling awful- breathlessness, really bad shivers and shakes
Days 7,8 feeling better - still a bit breathless, managed to get up & about
Days 9,10 relapse- awful shivers and shakes again, very dry throat & nose
Day 11- yesterday- felt normal, cleaned house & went for a walk, dry throat and nose again
Today- which I think is day 12 if I count from original mild symptoms- I feel dreadful- really bad chills, shakes, weak limbs again, tummy
muscles wobbling, hot face but no temperature.

I feel really scared and don’t know what to do- is it part of the virus coming out?

It may be that you just did too much and wore yourself out. That can often happen with viruses.
I’m on day 14 now (undiagnosed obviously, I think it is but can’t confirm) and it’s been very like when I first had ME - feeling weak, not being able to trust my body because I feel ok one minute and then suddenly not. It takes very little to exhaust me again.

From what I’ve heard this virus can wipe you out like no other!

After Flu, it’s not uncommon to still be washed out a week after symptoms have ‘ended’. Same clearly applies here. Go as easy as possible, no unnecessary labour at all, your body has taken a pounding & needs every bit of energy for recovery

I'm about three weeks in and it does come in waves. I actually feel worse now than I did a week ago despite the breathing issues lessening.

I now have fatigue, chills, aches and am vomiting when I cough. I feel pretty washed out.

I, like you it seems, tried to do too much too soon. You need to properly rest.

I just spoke to the doc - he said to count from when I felt really unwell which puts me on day 7 😩 Says take fluids, pain killers, isolate in house etc! Reckons it’s deffo the virus!

@littleblackdress04

Sorry you are feeling so rotten, hope you get some rest.

I'm a bit similar, though by the sounds of it not as severe as you.Not sure if it is corona or not (hoping so much not), but the chest issues are weird and although I'm an anxious person in general, definitely not anxiety related anymore. I'm also like you completely confused about when to count the days from. I've had

Days 1+2 - exhaustion, could barely get out of bed. headache. Neither usual for me even if ill
Days 3+4 - weird scratchy sore throat started. Exhaustion left
Days 5-11 (or is it 3-8 if discount the fatigue and headache, which could be smthing else) - throat same, scary thumpy palpitations whenever moved raised resting heart rate to more than usual causing eye blurriness, these are milder and less now. Increasing chest pains especially when breathing in, slightly breathless, the chest has worsened today. Worse as the day goes on.

Just keep worrying am I not passed the danger zone. No fever or cough yet. Hope they don't come. Hoping I've got away with a mild case of its that, and I haven't or won't pass it on to my DC.

Let us know how you get on xx

Sorry to hear you feel bad OP and I hope you’re on the mend soon but please don’t go out waking when you think you might have it.

The symptoms sound really scary, especially the breathlessness

Hope everyone feels better very very soon

Lancet: ‘Using data on the outcomes of 169 cases reported outside of mainland China, we estimated a mean onset-to-recovery time of 24·7 days’

I had the same symptoms in Feb and couldn't have been cv as it wasn't being spread then. I found rest and lemsip the only thing that helped. Took a good 14 days to start feeling consistently better and I still have no sense of smell, a cough and deafness now, five weeks later.

WaktiWapnasi · 01/04/2020 20:39

Tonyaster - I wouldn't bet on it. I suspect it has been in the general population longer than we know. My husband was the first to be ill in our house and that was early Feb, followed by my son mid-late feb. No testing/recording of deaths would obscure earlier infections.
