This is my DD(20)

She has not been well the last few days. Slept all day Sunday. Headache and shivery at times. No cough. Temp not high though, even though she felt warmer than usual to touch it never went about 37.3 so not classed as a fever. Has got up this morning feeling better.

So what do I do? Presume this is potentially covid-19 and isolate the family or presume that it isn't and just another bug and carry on as normal?

The 111 guidelines seem so ambiguous right now though they seemed so clear before!

Hi I am wondering about a similar situation
with 14 Yr old and lacking guidance. The only advice is to do the same as if isolating without anyone suffering symptoms. See below: (the key word is "may")

Govt advice :
If you live with others and you or one of them have symptoms that may be caused by coronavirus, then household members must stay at home and not leave your house for 14 days (more information in the ending self-isolation section below). If possible, you should not go out even to buy food or other essentials, other than exercise, and in that case at a safe distance from others. The 14-day period starts from the day when the first person in your house became ill.
