We have found ourselves in a bit of a situation with a holiday booked for June (flights plus Airbnb). At the time of booking we thought we'd easily be able to add our new baby to the booking once he arrived, however how birth registrations are suspended due to the pandemic which means no passport.
If flights are cancelled we'll be entitled to refunds anyway. But I'm concerned what happens if travel is happening again come June, as it's unlikely restrictions will be lifted with enough time for us to register the birth and get a new passport arranged before we're due to go. Especially with the backlogs that will have built up.
The baby isn't named on any of the bookings, and it's obviously too late to put him on the travel insurance in a meaningful way. What are our chances of getting refunded?
