I saw a wonderful thing recently on the news about some neighbours who marked out a dedicated parking space outside their NHS worker neighbours houses so that they didn't have to park miles away from their house when they returned from their shifts. It's a little thing but after a 12+ hour shift it would literally make me cry with gratitude if someone did this for me where we live! Worth thinking about if you live somewhere where there are no permits and those home all day get to park directly outside their houses whilst others who have to go out to go to work end up having to fight for the nearest spot when they get back home.
