Ocado queue - no slots!!

I stayed up till 1am yesterday and finally managed to get in front of the queue. When my turn came, there were no slots!!!

What was the queue for then???

I had a text from them yesterday evening as a smart pass customer, got on the site quickly but no delivery slots. Tried again earlier and bagged a slot for .............. 24th April ffs. I shop with them every week and have done for a very long time.

Same here @Alyic ! I’ve been with them for years. Hard times now sadly!

@Igotthemheavyboobs they should make that clear on their waiting page and not get people queue thinking they’ll get a slot!

I haven't even had the queue since last week. I should have an order for Thurs that I need to edit but it just tells me to login then throws me back to the page asking me to login. I'm resigned to jot getting any more deliveries now- have been a smart pass holder for years

I was just editing an order and came to checkout and it threw me out. Seriously considering cancelling entire order and going to Sainsburys instead.

They NEED to communicate cut off times and when we will be able to get slots. It's not good enough. I am trying to order to deliver to vulnerable relatives.

When I go there it says immediately no slots and I don’t have to wait, which is fair enough - must be maddening to be told that after queueing.

Being unable to check out seems to be a bug with Chrome. Try Microsoft Edge instead in future?

@CockCarousel they wont. I emailed them as I can't even get on the website now as I am fairly new smart pass customer and was told by them that I will still be able to book slots. How when I am not even allowed on site, I have no idea... But they will be losing out average of £90 a week for the sake of not postponing/refunding my smart pass. So that is their bad.

I live in East Midlands and a Smart Pass holder and got on straight away at 5 am this morning,plenty of slots for tomorrow.But for my elderly mother in Hampshire no available slots in next 3 days,think the loss of their Andover premises last year has had an impact.

Agreed, personally never shopped with them before but from reading threads on here, most people are logging in to edit their orders after placing a 'slot hold' order.
