Poor Boris

I keep seeing these posts. The poor loves tired. Meanwhile government had a 3 month head start. Could see what was happening in other countries. Pratted about with herd immunity giving the virus a good chance to bed in. Nhs has been whittled down the bones of its arse. No joining the eus collective efforts to buy more medical equipment. Local authorities now have to house all the homeless and there's now more Nhs beds available....why wasn't this done before? I don't get the sympathy 🤷🏾‍♀️

You do realise it's not just Boris making these decisions, right? I am not a fan of his and don't agree with the approach the government as a collective have taken, but I can empathise that it's bloody stressful and I wouldn't fancy doing it.

What would you have done differently?

Personally, I wouldn't have shaken hands with a load of CV patients, & boasted about it on SM. For a start. I'd also have made it my business to tell the truth as a politician, so that when it came to crunch time, people were likely to believe me. Instead of thinking this is another Big NHS Bus issue.

Agree, OP. Germany shows what can be done when services are properly funded and the government isn't totally incompetent. No sympathy for Johnson or the rest of them. They are responsible for cutting the NHS to the bone, they have blood on their hands when NHS staff will die due to lack of protective clothing.

Not saying it's not stressful. It's just a pisspoor effort
