Time to restyle some mini Co-ops?

I like my local Co-op Express but I'm not going in there again as it seems to have no idea of social distancing and nor do its customers, who prowl insolent and feral next to my elbow.
The nearby Tesco Express is a bit better.

To be fair, the aisles just aren't wide at all so it's hard to know how to get round it. Waitrose has a one in one out rule which is a faff and means queues outside - with each person separated - but at least they have the right idea.

It seems crazy to have to cross the road to keep your distance from other pedestrians then find yourself up close 3, 4 or more times in these Express supermarkets.

Yes I was in our local co-op yesterday and vowed not to return. They've tried to rejig it to maintain 2m distances but now the self service and kiosk customers have to pass each other in some weird sort of cross which never happened in the normal queuing system!
