Anyone registered as extremely vulnerable person?

Has anyone registered thought the government website and actually got any help?

My OH has been told to stay home for 12 weeks via the NHS letter, there's only the two of us and we can't isolate from each other so I've not left the house either and I'm terrified if I do I'll bring something home and infect him.

The problem is we're going to run out of food soon and there are zero delivery slots! Sainsbury's says they will deliver to extremely vulnerable people who are registered via the government website, so we've done last week that but still it won't let me into the website??

Anyone else had any luck?

Yes, my son received a food parcel today. Ring your local council

Hello OP

My church group are doing our best to help all our known extremely vulnerable members to register on the government website after receiving their letters.

Over half of them (20+) have received their care boxes over the weekend and today. These are the ones arranged via the government website and local community hubs, not through direct supermarket ordering.

The volunteers who are delivering the boxes have said to expect another delivery within a week. There is a letter in each box with a number to call if you have allergies or dietary requirements. This will be taken into account in future care box deliveries.

So long as you are in the extremely vulnerable group and registered, I would think your care box should arrive soon. You can check on your local council website for details of the community hub for your area.
