Key worker nursery & school closures

I am just wondering whether nurseries and schools in your areas are having to shut their doors to key workers as they are having difficulty staffing them? Ours have just announced they're closing and no alternative has been offered. Anybody else?

Ours shut at the beginning of lockdown. I got in touch with the school and the LA and was offered an alternative but the provision had to be within 30mins drive or something which was ridiculous for what we needed so we are just trying to make do

Ours opened for a week and then I got a call on Friday to say they would have to close . All of my work is related to covid at the moment and today has been stressful to say the least and I've managed to do about 1 hour. The only other local school offering space is full. She's only 1 so needs constant entertainment. I think I may have to suggest reducing hours as I can't see this working, but then feel like I am not doing my bit.

Hi can anyone please give me some advice I’m 5 and 4 days pregnant, I’ve got mild (bacterial vaginosis) and I’m on metronidazole x2 daily for 7 days. Is this safe? Doctor says it is but still worried?
