The last 6-7 weeks I've had anemia and barely left the house. Just started doing the school runs again the week before schools shut. I was literally outside walking alone. I've been in the shop once in the last two weeks. The week before the schools shut my toddler had a cold and conjunctivitis. Totally normal and only needed Calpol 2-3 times over 4 days.

A week ago I started feeling that dry sensation before you get a dry cough. Then throughout the week at certain parts of the day I've got a mild dry cough. Worse first thing and at teatime. I have functioned fine.

I have been put on the mini-pill to try stop heavy periods. My period was 4 days of spotting followed by 5 days off bleeding so far. It's not stopping. So I'm feeling weak and cold due to bleeding again (I think)

Woke up this morning felt mildly queasy. Went for a wee. Got back in bed and went hot. I got my oh to bring me some paracetamol. For the last hour I've been dozing and felt like I had the chills rather than a fever. Shivery. Needing to put arms in and out the duvet. I'm mildly coughing.

I am sure it's not Corona due to the fact I've not mixed at all and havn't been anywhere. But I know theres a small chance.

Id mild Corona still bad? I'm so worried as I've got kids. I am so scared of them loosing me. Or them getting poorly.

Conjunctivitis is a symptom, so you may have caught it from your toddler.

Don't worry, OP; for 80% of us it will be mild. I'm pretty sure I've had it (obviously can't say with certainty as no tests!) and honestly, if it had been normal circumstances I wouldn't have taken a day off work with it.

Thanks for the reply. So many scary stories this week. The only thing is my toddlers not at a childcare setting so he was also home and not mixing whilst I was poorly.

What symptoms did you have?

It's a shame the news doesn't tell us mold case stories instead of the ventilator horror stories. I know it's true and we need to understand how serious it is. It just feels there's no positive stories out there explaining mild normal cases.

Mild cases not mold

I had about a week of feeling "rough" - run down, very tired, a headache that got progressively worse through the day and sore, tired eyes. A very occasional cough (like a few times a day) and total loss of sense of smell. Also a few episodes of tight-chestedness.

Sense of smell is now coming back and I no longer feel run down, but the occasional cough is still there.

Hmm yes I have not felt right all week. It's so hard to judge with my iron levels though. My cough is on and off. I feel weak and cold on and off, definitely strange as I've not had a cold. Throats mildly sore/dry. Just overall feel yuck. I hope we can buy those tests soon but I think there's only 3 million and there's 65 million people in the uk. I'm guessing we won't get one anytime soon.
