I have been on SSP for 17th(self isolating) and I haven’t been paid. It is my payday today, get paid weekly. Currently on furlough but employer only closed yesterday. Should I have been paid as normal or will I have to wait? Have no contact details for my employer now the store is shut and I’m worried I won’t be getting anything and don’t know who to contact.

Did you provide the required evidence/follow your company's sick leave procedure?
Furlough only equals payment if your company is applying for the government's grant to pay people in the event they close, your company should confirm this to you if it applies.
Don't you have anyone's contact details at all? Some employment contracts or staff handbooks have additional contact details...

Followed all procedures and can see they have marked it as paid in my HMRC app. I don’t have a contract or hand book. It’s a small family run business and there is only the store number and my employer’s personal mobile, which I wasn’t given. Employer has applied for the grant, received a letter and phone call from them to say this.

Could you search for them on social media and message them asking for a phone number?

What contact details show when you Google the business?

Managed to speak to one of my colleagues who gave me my employers personal mobile. Called but no answer, SSP went in around 11. I was probably worried for nothing.
