If you're getting shopping for a vulnerable person, what precautions are you taking?

I'm buying food for a person who is shielding and going out once a week for them, dropping it at their front door and then getting in my car before they open the door and collect their food.

What are you doing to limit their risk of catching anything?

I shop with mask, gloves and dettol wipes, I take plastic bags and wipe shopping bag handles. But then the person I'm delivering to is capable of washing and bleaching all packaging at the door. If they weren't I'd do it for them.

Thanks @Noloudnoises. I wiped the shopping trolley handle down, used lots of alcohol gel at various stages. I think next time I'll see if I can get any wipes to wipe things down for them. Thing is I live miles from them so it's difficult as either I shop in my hometown or theirs but either way any cleaning etc has to be done on the move.

I think I'll also shop somewhere that has scan as you shop next time. That way I can put the food straight into my own bags and not have to have them make contact with the trolley. Problem is the shop which doesn't have scan as you shop was much better stocked than the ones with scan as you shop (where we both live anyway).
