What are they actually testing for, to see if we have Had Covid? Or are don't show any symptoms or are immune ? A family member said to me today
'We need to test all the public as soon as possible after all front line and all key workers are too. That way will we be able to visit family or go to work if we have had it or not"

I think the antibody test will check whether you've had it already in the past whereas the current test checks if you have active covid 19 at that moment

I am wondering how long do we have antibodies after covid? My fiance had pneumonia in January and I am wondering if that was it.
