What shall I do about May holiday?

I have booked and paid to go to Eurocamp in May and paid for an overnight ferry.
It looks highly unlikely to happen now.
Should I ask for a refund or book for September or May next year? I have no idea what the future holds.

I'd wait and see. Its highly unlikely things will get any better.

If you can get a refund I would. Then rebook in the future when things are better.

pinkmagic1 · 29/03/2020 08:55

I would swap it over to next year if possible. Most tour operators are allowing and encouraging this.

Boredbumhead · 29/03/2020 08:55

Eurocamp are offering a credit towards future holidays or rebook but no refunds.

I think a free change of dates on the ferry is possible too. But I don't know when this whole thing is going to end so I don't know when to rebook for - 2 years or 2 months!!!!

Book for next year.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 29/03/2020 09:02

I would rebook for next year. I had an Easter booking for Butlins and I've moved it to Easter next year. I think Covid-19 will probably still be around but not to this extent.

ErrolTheDragon · 29/03/2020 09:07

Rebook for next year. I wouldn't bet on travel being ok by September, and if it is there will probably be good deals.

Honeyroar · 29/03/2020 10:30

I don’t know if I’d want to rebook or take a credit note. All sorts of things are going to go bankrupt over the next few months, particularly within the holiday industry.

Honeyroar · 29/03/2020 10:31

Sorry I just re read your posts and saw you can’t have a refund.

Goingtobeoldearly · 29/03/2020 10:43

I was going to Australia in may, couldn't get a refund but could get a credit note, so that's what I've done

Boredbumhead · 29/03/2020 14:04

Just spoke to them and they are not rebooking may holidays yet. Just April ones at the moment. I have to wait apparently
