I'm currently off work sick with a recurring health issue. I'm due back at work in 2 weeks.
Management at work think I should be off 12 weeks because I have a recurring issue which often requires antibiotics and has had me hospitalised a couple of times. They think that because we cant adhere to social distancing at work & 3 different people use the same desk in a day (24/7 coverage) that I could be a higher risk.
I dont think my doctor will agree however. My illness isnt respiratory etc.
I'm assuming work could make the decision to tell me to stay home but would that be a problem since I wouldnt have a doctors line or could they mark me off sick for 12 weeks without it if its their decision for me to stay off
