Bit of background, I am heavily pregnant and partner has asthma. My partner was doing some work in the back garden today and came in to tell me that our neighbor needs help in hanging a shelf and goes around there before I could even speak! He then came back a few hours later and he couldn't understand why I was mad! I wrongly or rightly said that he could be putting us all at risk and our unborn child (I might of been being dramatic here..) we have been self isolating for almost 2 weeks. Our neighbors partner is a key worker and is highly likely to come into contact with the virus! I'm now sitting here quietly seething whilst he is acting like a wounded puppy! Have I over reacted?

No you are right he has put you all at risk and left you no choice. I would be livid.

What the fuck?? He's a complete plank. What were they both thinking?!

UnilakTea · 28/03/2020 20:58

I have no idea, he is using the excuse of that he just didn't think. But he must of clearly known I would be mad as he snuck back in to get his drill without even a word to me. I'm mad for myself and our baby, for all anyone knows we could have it and we have just passed it on!

How did he leave without you getting a word in Hmm Are you now isolating from him?

UnilakTea · 28/03/2020 21:02

He shouted to me whilst I was upstairs what he was doing, by the time I waddled down he had gone!

Well personally I’d have shouted back ‘don’t be so fucking stupid’ but that’s me. If you are concerned by the risk then you need to isolate from him. This would also hopefully convey the seriousness of the situation to him.
