Toddler fever twice during isolation

So 14 days ago 3yo DS had a mild cold then 10 days ago a new continuous cough. He literally coughed every 10 seconds for 24 hours followed by a fever of 39. The fever lasted 24 hours and thereafter both disappeared. An intermittent cough and runny nose lasted a few more days. We were 4 days clear of any symptoms. For the last 24 hours temperature has been spiking again. Reached 39.8 over night. Am only giving paracetamol in case of corona which brings it down to mid 38 but now we’re back to 39.4 with half hour until next dose (giving 4 hourly). Seems to have a bit of a runny nose so could be run of the mill cold?

I know 111 is so extremely busy, I’d spoken with them first time round for advice which was simply isolate household for 14 days.

How common is it to have symptoms again 10 days after the first considering we haven’t left our home?! Just me and DS in household and I’ve not had any symptoms. Any advice welcome and apologies for the ramble

OP I became ill with what I now believe to be Coronavirus more than 5 weeks ago. Once again, today, I have a slightly raised temperature. Never experienced anything like this in my life.

I would call 111 for advice given age and return of symptoms

Sounds very much like Coronavirus.
Lots of people report feeling like they are getting better, and then getting poorly again

He is absolutely fine in himself and not phased or affected by the temperature which is great but just so many uncertainties. Also don’t know what this means in terms of isolation do we continue to follow 14 days from the start, start again?

Thanks for the advice. Have spoken with 111 who say this all fits with Cv and to continue with paracetamol.
