Contact lenses - anyone else having issues with order?

I normally buy my contact lenses from Lensstore and they're extremely reliable and very quick to deliver. The lenses usually arrive 24-48 hours after ordering even with no special delivery, and they send you an email to let you know they've received your order and that it has been dispatched.

The website currently says that orders are taking "a little longer" to be dispatched (fair enough obviously!) but I'm getting worried as I placed the order on Monday, it's now Saturday and I still haven't heard anything from them.

Obviously there's increased demand at the moment but Vision Direct have said on their website that delivery is only delayed by one day.

I'm concerned as the one pair of glasses I do have are extremely out of date with a very old prescription.

Is anyone else having trouble?

No - but I’ve decided not to use mine at the moment. I’m not leaving the house so don’t need to be able to see very far. And I’d rather not risk putting anything into my eyes - even though in over thirty years I’ve never had any problem. Am also using an ancient pair of glasses to look out of the window.

But you may need yours more than I do. Do you have to go out / drive/ go to work?

What about nextdaylenses.com

I use vision direct and their website had that message too but the lenses actually arrived within 24 hours

Thanks - I will give them a try. I just hope I can get a quick refund on my Lensstore order as cash flow is already tight!
