Stuff to do with a toddler

DS is 2.8 and a whirlwind of energy. I need some ideas of things to keep him entertained during lockdown.

So far we have done the following (in addition to normal stuff):

Put up the tent in the garden
Balloons
Bubbles
Big pot of water with bath toys on patio
Chalk drawing on patio
Home-made salt dough
Cooking/baking together
Gardening

I've planned an Easter egg hunt, egg dip-dying for breakfast, and some Easter crafts like painting and bonnet-making but I'm saving those for the day itself.

Please hit me with your toddler-friendly suggestions!

If he enjoyed the chalk drawing, what about drawing some roads on the patio and taking some toy cars out to play on it.

Tape some empty loo rolls onto your fence, lined up with each other and find a ball that fits inside to make a ball run.

Towers- out of anything, bricks, pillows, what can you build the tallest tower with- knocking them down and building them again.

Den building with blankets and chairs and then stories and snacks in the den for quiet time.

Also with the chalk on the patio different zig zag lines, circles etc to get him to balance along, you could add spots for jumping and make it into a circuit.

Obstacle course, teddy bears picnic, cushion fort, build a massive train track, dancing, online toddler group, digging in the dirt, choosing a book and doing some activities based around the characters, painting.

Also, CBeebies while you have a cup of tea and MN. My DS just turned 3, I am knackered!
