Hi, looking for advice or your thoughts or whatever please as I'm going around in circles!
Partner had a massive stroke 3 years ago (still in 40's) , long recovery but has done really well, but still on daily medication for life. Definitely lower immune system than before, gets everything going around. He is a key worker, a care worker dealing with vulnerable adults with no concept of hygiene ( will Cough in your face etc, they can't understand) and also with a stream of various agency workers in and out - so potentially a lot of exposure. He is terrified of catching covid-19 and not surviving.
Have spoken to GP but he is not classed as vulnerable, and to be fair stroke is not listed on the govt's list of vulnerable people..
We're just a bit lost really. And scared. As is everyone, I know.
Is there another Avenue to enquire about being classed as vulnerable?
How does anyone else in a similar position feel?
At the minute we are bouncing between terrified of losing him and just having to suck it up like millions of others....
