Child mild symptoms. CV or something else

Has anyone else’s child had really mild symptoms? DD had a very high fever (39.7) for an afternoon & evening 4 days ago. She was tired (even napped which is unlike her) she complained of a headache the entire time & was very lethargic. She did manage to eat a small amount of dinner. Calpol didn’t seem to bring the temp down. She woke up the next morning feeling totally fine.

My initial reaction was it was Coronavirus but seeing how quickly she recovered I’m now not so sure. However all we keep hearing is how mild children suffer & many no symptoms at all. She had a niggling little cough for around two weeks prior but wasn’t persistent enough to be a concern. We will never know if mild symptoms are or aren’t CV but anyone else’s child had mild symptoms?

Both of my children have had a fever, sore throat, sore ears, sore head and a cough. They had a couple of days of Calpol and are now absolutely fine. The adults in the house now have the same thing which we are treating with paracetamol and we seem to be recovering well too. We have no way of knowing if it is/was Coronavirus but NHS 111 said to play it safe and self-isolate (I'm a key worker).
