What to do with child tax credits now that childcare provider is closed?

I'm not sure what I'm meant to do with the tax credits I receive for childcare. I was planning to continue to pay my childminder but have heard that I might be made to pay it back to HMRC. I couldn't find any guidance online.

Should I just keep it to one side? Continue to pay the childminder?

Childcare credits are worked out over the year. So you could leave it for now and put it to one side then calculate your new annual requirement (less the money you've put aside) once life goes back to normal.
Has your childminder said to keep paying them?

They haven't said anything yet and haven't invoiced me.
