Supermarkets closing early...

So our aldi is now shutting at 8pm instead of 10. Sucks.

I don't know if it's a staffing issue but surely stores should be open longer hours if anything? In order to spread out shoppers.

I normally would rush in once per week between 9 and 10pm and it was quiet...but now i guess it'll be the rat race during the day :/

Anyone else's locals shutting early?

And anyone in Scotland found their stores are only letting a certain amount of people inside at a time? At least that would be something...

They are shutting early so they can re-stock.

All supermarkets should be restricting numbers. They were told to do it by the government.

All of this has been in the papers.

As far as I am aware, all major supermarkets have cut their opening hours. It is to give them time to restock properly.

That's good then, I dont mind queuing outside :)
Fingers crossed it is properly enforced.
