Would like to support these but they can be quite cramped and not sure.

What do you think do you go to local shops like newsagent, greengrocer at the moment?

Just use your common sense. Look in, if it's busy don't go in.

Our local shops have all been very quiet of late. I think people are choosing the bigger supermarkets atm.

Our village shop is taking mega precautions, only one person in at a time, spaced apart queuing, staff wearing gloves, contactless paying, taking orders for delivery by email and payment over the phone.

I haven’t needed anything yet but I’ll do a delivery order which is easier for them and means fewer people have to go in.

Our village shop has been better stocked than the supermarkets. I've been getting our essentials there and using up stuff from the cupboard/freezer.
