The Co-op. Trying to shop for elderly neighbour. Also myself, DH and DCS. Only allowed one of each item.
Neighbour can only lift small cartons of milk so asked for 4. No idea how I can do this without a couple of daily trips. No online shopping available for her despite being in her 80s. Trying to help.
Also when in there a bloke came up put all his beer in the bit where my shopping was going to be out by the cashier, right by me. Cashier only told him he could only have one, not to stand back in the queue.
But then when more came in, called for security. I felt I couldn't ask the guy to step back myself as he looked a bit fierce, and put me in the position of having to lean round to use the card machine.
I feel I will need to perhaps use a nearby newsagents to buy milk, we are meant to be only shopping weekly but neighbour also want me to collect newspaper on Saturday as ordered it from a specific newsagent, and of course meds come from a pharmacy nearby.
Bit concerned about all this but can't see another option really.
