Family living with elderly parent

Practical advice needed please from those in this situation already please. My elderly mother needs to come and stay with me and my family. Suffering from extreme anxiety she cannot cope with the required changes to her routine and will require external careers if she is left alone in her home during this period. Other than essential trips for food and fresh air the rest of my family is not venturing outside.
If you have an older person living with your family, how are you coping?
Thanks, feel incredibly stressed by the responsibility.

I am living with my mum at the moment. I have been here since I left China.
I took her to the hospital yesterday for an appointment (she was told to attend as normal) but apart from that she only goes out to the garden. I go shopping, collect prescriptions and for a daily walk. I walk around the residential area and normally encounter a few dog walkers, that’s all. I go shopping once per week and aim to combine prescription collection with this providing she has sufficient medication remaining.
It’s a big responsibility and she does get anxious and upset, but taking it one day at a time.

My children are with me. They go out for a run together, no contact with anyone else and just run locally.
Ds was coming shopping with me (last week) but will probably go alone now to reduce potential exposure in supermarket.

My elderly parents both live with us, they are in the hi risk category, so we are all taking this extremely seriously. Dh walks the dog at 6.15am
Kids are using the garden for exercise, and we are getting shopping delivered. Apart from dh none of us have left the house for the past 2 weeks. We are so lucky to have plenty of outdoor space, but it's still difficult to not pop to the shop or walk to the seafront like we usually do, I know we are technically allowed but with my parents we don't want to take the risk.
It's difficult, but you've done a good thing looking after her.
Good luck and stay safe

Thanks so much, our setup will be similar so manageable I hope. Reassuring to hear of others in the same situation.
