Me and husband wfh full time. My job busier than this (has been for a long time). He's floating about watching tv or on social media when no work for to do while I am constantly setting the school work for the kids. Is it just me ?

I get this. I am trying to ‘work’ my 3 days, basically checking emails on my phone then actioning anything I need to on the laptop after I put DS to bed. I’m also looking after DS (2 years old) on my own. DH works in financial services and it’s the end of the tax year so he is working FT on the desktop computer upstairs all day. He is the main breadwinner, is full time and earns a good deal more than me so this is just how it is. But it’s shit and I hate it.

I do think lockdown is a gendered issue. Women are more likely to be the lower earners and to work PT so the childcare falls to us, along with trying to work.

I’m a lone parent so already do everything anyway so no different for me
