My DH works for a big global private company. They are asking staff to take a pay cut (don't know how much yet) without reducing their hours. The reason given is that their profits will be hit by coronavirus. So same hours for less pay. But surely if there is enough work for them to still work full time then they shouldn't have to drop pay. Fair enough to drop a day and the equivalent salary but not to do the same work for less money. Anyone know where he stands with this?
