What nice things are people doing?

Just back from my walk of the day. There were maybe a dozen people I walked past, (from a distance of at least 2 meters) and every single one gave me eye contact and said hello.
I didn't see any gatherings of people or anything else that looked to be breaking the social distancing rules. Lots of rainbows in people's windows too.
It was the same on yesterday's walk.
I get back and look on mumsnet and Facebook and its full of anger at how some people are behaving in this crisis. One woman on Facebook was complaining that her nurse neighbour who works for the NHS came back with 4 bags of shopping for 2 people so is obviously stockpiling. Wtf!
I get that many people are being dicks but, if I wasn't still out for walks I would really get a false view of the community spirit that actually still exists in most people. What has everyone else noticed about people that has been good during this time?

I'm planning for Easter at home, got to a make a holiday out of it somehow. At home, with household, etc.

Planning for Easter is a great idea!

We're self isolating so my dad has just dropped off some supplies. He sat on my garden wall for a chat before heading back. The sunshine is making things much less unpleasant.

Also my neighbours were chatting while putting washing out (in our own gardens!). We wouldn't normally see each other as we're all so busy.

We have been listening to free audio books on Audible (this is a special coronavirus offer from Amazon). Today we baked blueberry muffins which I'd never usually get round to on a weekday. And we had a huge family Skype with everyone on the same call, as well as DD having huge Skype calls with her friends (she is 9 so this is unusual). We have managed to successfully play some remote games like charades, Articulate etc, as well as an online pub quiz.

I'm also using the extra time at home to start a proper vegetable garden which will help if we see food prices soar in the summer.
