I got a call from my GP about DS yesterday

Tootletum · 26/03/2020 11:57

Nope

Coronackered · 26/03/2020 11:57

Nothing

covetingthepreciousthings · 26/03/2020 11:59

Nope

DieCryHate · 26/03/2020 11:59

I haven't

l0v3ro · 26/03/2020 11:59

Thanks, I'm now on a higher dosage of medication (it was prescribed on Monday by a doctor) and it now transpires it's on the list of medication, that people should stay in for 12 weeks!
I'm wondering if it was just a text for all or just for me as I should be staying in for 12 weeks!

I’m asthmatic and not had a text. My friend sent me the asthma UK guidelines for what counts as severe asthma and I’m on a quarter of the dose, so taking that to assume I’m not severe.

middleager · 26/03/2020 12:03

No. Ds (13) is asthmatic.

90bisodol · 26/03/2020 12:13

No, I've been expecting one since Monday but not had one.

l0v3ro · 26/03/2020 12:35

Thanks everyone, I presume then it's just because my medication then!

Nope. I thought I might because of my medication, but haven’t heard a word.

It does seem quite random as to who gets a letter/text and who doesn’t. I wonder how they are obtaining the info?

l0v3ro · 26/03/2020 12:41

@WrongKindOfFace it does seem random- all my text literally said was please go to asthma uk and gave a link!

My asthmatic dh got a letter telling him to stay in for 12 weeks.

Doyoumind · 26/03/2020 12:49

No but I'm not in the severe category. I'm still doing everything I can to keep myself safe though.
