Are we starting to see a steady supply of tinned tomatoes again yet?

Don't know about steady, but my husband found some in the shops for the first time in weeks yesterday. We genuinely use them quite a bit so have been on the look out for them

My husband found some in the world foods section in Sainsbury’s

I got a pack of 4 in an M&S food hall yesterday.

supercee · 26/03/2020 10:45

Waitrose had them back in yesterday but only the packs of 4. No other fancy brands.

babybunny123 · 26/03/2020 10:51

None in Asda today. I'll try Aldi next week.

To the best of my knowledge Sainsburys has never run out of tinned tomatoes. The canned food aisle has been looking sparse recently; no baked beans, spaghetti hoops etc but I've noticed there has always been loads of tinned tomatoes. Obviously I don't know if this is just my Sainsburys.

Where is that? I haven't seen tinned tomatoes in any shop for about 10 days, or maybe don't say or your town will be overrun, I'm amazed to hear that.

You just have a lucky Sainsbury's!

Plenty in my local Lidl.
