Close family member has an apt at hospital next week - should I go?

It’s to find out if a tumour in liver is cancerous or not.

Immediate family and they are unfamiliar with the city the hospital is in.

I have an autoimmune disease so in the at risk category.

I want to be there and support my family member, not the same house.

Is it a terrible idea for me to go?

😔

Ring to check

My hospital allows patients only into the waiting room for haematology and oncology outpatients clinics,

So there may be little point in your entering the actual hospital. But if you are driving him there, you could stay in your own car
