Advice needed on self isolating

My 70 year old mum is caring for my nan. I really want to be able to move in with them to help her but would need to self isolate beforehand. Does anyone know if it would be 7 or 14 days? I am a single parent to a 5 year old so she would come with me too.

Neither me or my daughter have had any symptoms btw.

It would need to be 14 days to make sure you weren't infected before self isolation.

14 days.
