Coronavirus pantry sort out

I am really now being so careful with food and going into the dark recesses of pantry cupboard, I have found some dry foods and wonder if they are ok to consume:

Instant Mash potato dry packet expired 7/19
Egg pasta lasagne sheets expired 7/19
Soup and casserole mix (dried pulses) expired 9/18

All unopened.
DH thinks too old but I wonder if it will get that bad that I need them Hmm

Assuming they are all best before dates, I’d still eat them :)

They will all be fine. I'm currently working my way through a never ending bag of lentils that has to be about 5 years out of date. Might need a little extra cooking as a bit dried out, but still perfectly edible.

Where on earth did this unnecessary slavery to best before dates come from? Most of them are not needed apart from stock control in the shop. They just encourage people to throw away perfectly good food.

I'd personally use them. ASAP !
