Not sure what advice is here. My parents classify as vulnerable and trying not to go out much because of my dads heart condition.

I have a mythical online delivery slot for next Tuesday. It's been booked for ages as I usually do a big heavy delivery shop every few months (stuff like washing powder or heavy cans).

Personally I probably don't need the slot but my parents are struggling where they live to get any online shopping slots. But they live about an hour drive away so I'm not sure whether I could get a delivery and then take it to them? I can't change the address to their house because they don't fall in the catchment area for the depot.

I think that's ok personally? If they have no one else what would they do otherwise

You’re allowed to take shopping to elderly and vulnerable people but do they not have a neighbour that could go for them to save you the hour long trip as you wouldn’t be able to go in their house (I’m assuming due to your dads condition) would be a case of dropping it at the doorstep which is what we’re doing for my grandparents.
