A question about shopping

I suppose this is a bit of a wwyd question
Payday tomorrow so need to do our monthly shop as usual. I know the guidelines say you can go out for food shopping but get food delivered where possible. We could cope a few days with what we currently have in if we needed to wait a few days for delivery but I'm wondering if it's best not to take up up supermarket delivery slots that could be used for someone vulnerable or elderly? I understand they're of a premium at the moment. I drive and it's just me and DD(8) so we could probably be in and out of our nearest Sainsbury's in less than half an hour when using a list. Wondering which is the lesser of two evils really, using up a delivery slot or being outside?

You might find that you can’t get a delivery slot anyway at the moment.

Good point! I probably should have checked the Sainsbury's app before posting, they pretty much answered my question. I'll just use my list and do a supermarket sweep. My elderly neighbour needs some fruit and veg so at least I'll be able to get that to her sooner rather than later
