Are porters essential workers?

I live in a block of flats on the ground floor. We really depend on the porter on security as this is Central London. I am wondering if they will remove the porters now?

Is the porter still there or not?

He is still here but he does not know whether he will stay or they will ask him to leave.. really afraid for security of the house.. I hope he stays as he manages all the electricity, heating in the block as well
