Those without a garden...

And children, any ideas?
I have a 17 month old and we don’t have a garden. The sun is out and I feel utterly miserable that none of us can enjoy it. I need some indoor ideas please.

Are there any open spaces nearby where you can go?

We live in a flat with no garden but we have a huge open field opposite us, so we have been going there for our daily exercise trip. It's really easy to keep your distance from people and it gets us out the house for a bit.

You can go out and enjoy it! Go for a walk while you still can

Make a jelly and then put DC in the bath with the jelly, and/or pasta? Cornflour?

Build a tent out of dining room chairs and blankets. Picnic in the tent.

Painting with feet, hands - in the bath if necessary.

I ordered some musical instruments & an aquadoodle from Amazon - they seem to keep my 17month old reasonably occupied. We've also built a den out of sofa cushions today. He's also 'helping' me make his meals. I'm generally finding that a routine is helping - I try & get up and showered before him, then save our exercise until after his nap (so afternoon) - that way we have something to look forward to. I also rely on the TV - a lot!!!

Is there no where you can go for a walk? We have a really crap yard that doesn't get any sun, but we go and walk the fields and woodland of the park across the road once a day.
