How safe is ordering things online

I want to try and order some food online ( if I'm even lucky enough to get a slot somewhere) but I'm scared the products could contain the virus on them, you can't wipe down every single product and get it all wet? How safe is it? I can't see myself leaving my fresh food outside for an incubation period. What are everyone else doing about it?

I have just literally washed a load of fruit and veg in soapy water and then spend an hour cleaning the kitchen so I might not be the best person to ask about this.

I mean it carries a risk but so does basically anything unless you are literally going to stay in your house with nothing going in and out for the forseeable future. Not feasible for most of us.

I will wash my hands after putting away online deliveries but I'm afraid I will go completely loopy if I have to sit there sterilising every item of food. Just can't live like that, sorry.

They say its very low risk as it the virus would be too broken down to make u ill.
Its scary but i doubt we can wipe every part of every item we buy.
