Laughing Twats in Commons

Jeremy Corbyn* is asking good, valuable, pertinent, timely questions of the PM and govt around self employed persons continuing to work, with coronavirus, riding the tube, because they have no other money and no other way to feed their families.

The twats on the other side of the house, including the PM had a great larf. JC had to tell them to stop ffs.

It's not fucking funny. Deal with the issue of the impoverished persons having to break lockdown in order to feed their families and stop fucking laughing.

*I'm not a JC fan, quite the opposite. That's how bad this was.

And for Christ sake, seize TFL and restore the London rail services to full normal capacity so that key workers can travel 2 metres apart. TFL have demonstrated that they have zero intent of doing this themselves.

The PM and his cronies have not one single idea what it’s like. And more to the point they don’t care. Him and JRM honestly would not care if poor people lost their home over this.

Smithtylater · 25/03/2020 12:50

I find it so direspectful....Boris and his cronies have no idea...

I’m watching this too, and that’s not what I saw. I’m no Johnson supporter but I think your summary is unfair. They were not laughing at the predicament of the people who claim that they “have” to go to work on the tube despite being ill. They were reacting to the repetitions of the same question which was, effectively, “say NOW that you are going to give people as much money as they say they need, indefinitely”. Despite Johnson already having said that they are working on a package to supplement the current £94 per week UC/SSP offer.

The bloke Corbyn had spoken to, who knew he had Coronavirus but was, as you put it, “...riding the tube, because they have no other money and no other way to feed their families.” is selfish. I know that you don’t want to hear it, but he is. Who does that? Is having to manage on £94 for a few weeks worse than knowing that you have killed a load of people and fuelled the epidemic?

You are being biased. Completely.

SilverySurfer · 25/03/2020 13:38

Boring but predictable left wing bias on here.

TooMuchBloodyChoice · 25/03/2020 13:43

It’s odd because I was watching it and that’s not what I saw. Both sides should be working together as it’s a pandemic emergency. They weren’t. Which was a bit of a disappointment all around tbh.

EthelMayFergus · 25/03/2020 13:44

That wasn't my impression at all.
