When to I start counting from?

I’ve had weird mild symptoms for about 4 days & then yesterday it all got a lot worse. Symptoms started with tickly throat, upset tummy, weird face flushes etc & then yesterday I got really shaky & my chest started to hurt, pain when I breathe in etc (talking to gp in a bit) - should I say I am on day 5/6 of symptoms?

The last sentence strikes me as redundant

Gp was pretty dismissive actually as I have no cough or temperature at the moment!
