Ok so I get that part .

But what about the people that cant socially distance themselves ?
Doctors
Nurses
Carers
Supermarket Warehouse workers and others

Do the rules not apply to them?

Obviously doctors, nurses and carers can’t be 2m away from their patients! That’s why they need PPE.

I’m not sure why supermarket warehouse workers couldn’t.

I’m in a factory. Impossible to keep apart. Still open. They shut us for one day until they decided what to do and opened back up.

Well for medics it's not 'social' is it? I had to go to hospital on Monday and the gynaecologist was most definitely closer than 2 metres as were the two nurses assisting the procedure. They didn't have mAsks but wore usual gloves. In the Waiting room and general areas everyone was 2 meters and hand sanitizer everywhere ( but not every person entering hospital used it FFS). We were surprised we could buy a coffee but the chairs were stacked. I think people were fairly sensible
