17 days ago I started with a very slight sore throat and a very slight sore tightness in my chest. It was an unusual feeling but I did the symptom checker thing on NHS111 and as I hadn't been abroad and didn't have any cough or fever, it told me to get on with life. I put the former down to a normal winter germ and the latter down to anxiety (not surprising under the circumstances).
Then the guidelines changed and we were told to stay inside for 7 days with any respiratory symptoms - which I've done since, along with the rest of the household, working from home - it's been fine.
Since then I've read a lot of articles about people having Covid without even barely being aware of it.
Nobody else in my household has come down with any symptoms, and I have had nothing but this sore throat and very slightly tight chest - no cough whatsoever, no fever, no fatigue.
17 days later though and I still have these two symptoms, no better, no worse. We're running out of food now... when are we safe to go back outside?
To summarise, I've been living with possible but very mild symptoms for 17 days - no one else in the family has come down with anything, but I still have the symptoms. When are we good to go?
