Vulnerable frontline NHS staff

I hope someone can shed a little light on this.
I have quite bad asthma, use a steroid inhaler and preventer inhaler daily.
Have been hospitalised in the past for my asthma.

My GP has said I'm in the vulnerable category, not the shielding one.
However occupational health and my gp both agree I shouldn't be in a public facing role. But there's not another role they can put me into.
What do I do?
Neither of them filled me with confidence, one saying speak to the other and vice versa
