How are people coping with this when living in flats?

I've got a 6 mo and a 2 yr old. V small flat.

Luckily we have a big communal lawn that never gets used so we go out once a day to th around on that for 20 mins but apart from that it's not the most fun I will admit! DS has gone all hyper and playing up a bit. Plus DH is WFH too now and gets worried when the baby cries ahhhhh

In Italy so in lockdown for over two weeks now, and due to too many selfish idiots not respecting the distancing guidelines when going out for a walk, we can't do that anymore either.
Most people live in flats here, it's fine, you get used to it because you have to. Because it's the right thing to do.
Tbh, the thought of it was worse than the reality.

You'll be ok. Flowers

We're in a smallish flat with a 1 year old and a dog. No garden and DH and I are both supposed to be WFH. It's not easy, thankfully we are close to a large park so we take the dog in the morning for a walk to tire him out (maintaining our requisite 2m from anyone we see). We would all be really miserable if they close the park.

Ugh I have neighbours above that are NOISY. So not good.

AutumnRose1 · 24/03/2020 13:20

Canterbury you’ve been banned from going for a walk?

OP I feel for you.

Eeyoresstickhouse · 24/03/2020 13:22

I am struggling. My toddler is struggling. I have come of facebook as my irrational jealousy at seeing people with their kids in the gardens was giving me totally irrational rage. I just feel a complete failure that I can't give my toddler that.

Egghead68 · 24/03/2020 13:54

I’ve been stuck in 2 rooms of a flat since 11th (bar an A&E trip last night). It’s OK. Lots to read and watch, work to do. Bought a cheap exercise bike & set of weights. Would love a treadmill but probably too noisy for downstairs.

@AutumnRose1 I was starting a general discussion, I’m ok fortunately
