Hi OP, I ordered one for my mum which will arrive Friday. Tbh I just went for it (with her permission) because it’s impossible to get slots anywhere. The site says it should be enough for two people for a week. No idea what it’ll be like but I’m trusting them! Just order one and see x

safariboot · 24/03/2020 12:08

Shows as sold out for me.

teablanket · 15/04/2020 10:11

I've got one arriving today. Keeping my fingers crossed for useful stuff!

Nighttimefreedom · 15/04/2020 10:12

How do you get one?

Cheeryandmerry · 15/04/2020 10:14

Yes it’s good. Image shown. Obviously no choice in what you get other than meat or vegetarian but excellent for basics.

I've had 2, they're brilliant. Full of fresh meat, bread and milk

Cheeryandmerry · 15/04/2020 10:18

You order by registering and ordering! Just google Morrison’s food box. It’s delivered by DPD....next day for my mum and dad!

Nighttimefreedom · 15/04/2020 10:18

Sorry just noticed the link!

Comefromaway · 15/04/2020 10:19

Yes I’ve had a couple and I sent one to the in laws.

1st was exactly as shown above, 2nd was cabbage instead of brocolli & cucumber & tomatoes instead of peppers.

AngelsWithSilverWings · 15/04/2020 10:32

I've had two delivered. It's a great idea but the packaging needs to be looked at.

My first box was damaged and open and the chicken and the sausage packaging had split open so I couldn't use it. The pasta has also split open and was all loose in the box. I emailed Morrison's and they refunded me £7 for the chicken and the sausages.

Second box - the ice packs had melted and everything was soaking wet. Had to throw away the couscous due to water damage. Also having compared my box with a neighbour's one I noticed I had a packet of cheese missing. Again I emailed Morrison's and they refunded me £2.50. Later also noticed that kitchen roll was missing too but couldn't be bothered to contact them again.

I've ordered quite a few for elderly and vulnerable relatives. Morrisons deserve huge credit for offering the best solution of all the supermarkets. They have a family meat bundle for £45 now and 2 different ready meal boxes as well.

There is a bit of an issue with the packaging being damaged inside the box though, particularly the meat (although the meat is in a separate bag in the box for hygiene).

Nighttimefreedom · 16/04/2020 13:27

So I ordered yesterday, got mine today. No issue with packaging, very pleased!

TheFutureIs · 16/04/2020 13:30

We ordered one, for the price we were fairly impressed. And definitely easier than trying to get a home delivery slot. Went with the veggie one assuming that it would be more vegetables but instead got meat substitutes

IHaveBrilloHair · 16/04/2020 13:32

I've ordered the meat box to be delivered on Sunday.
I'll post then with photos.

Roselilly36 · 16/04/2020 13:33

I had mine yesterday, we were pleased with it.

IHaveBrilloHair · 16/04/2020 13:36

Its just the actual meat bundle, the £45 one.
I live alone so it will last me ages, I've an Asda delivery coming on Monday with, (hopefully), loads of fresh veg.

Yippity · 16/04/2020 13:36

I’ve had a couple and they’re basic but decent.

Milk
Bread
Butter
Cheese
Loo roll
Kitchen roll
Meat (got ham, bacon, sausages, chicken breasts and mince both times)
Three tins (soup/baked beans)
Potatoes
Carrots
Onions
Broccoli & peppers one time, cabbage & cucumber the next
Pasta & fresh pasta sauce
Microwave rice

PuzzledObserver · 16/04/2020 13:41

My observation:

It says it’s enough for 2 people for a week. I counted enough ingredients for 5 main meals and 5 light meals. There was only 2l of milk, and no fruit/biscuits or anything like that.

But when we couldn’t get anything else, it was most welcome.

IHaveBrilloHair · 16/04/2020 13:45

There's too much in the mixed boxes I don't need or want. (Loo roll, tea bags, milk, peppers, veggie protein)
Atm, I only want food I will eat, which is why I chose the plain meat box.
