Confusion

Asking 2 questions on behalf of 2 different friends who do not have Mumsnet. I didn’t know the answers.

  1. Friend A lives with her parents, partner and baby. She wants to know if she and her partner can take their DD for a walk together - they are part of the same household. I wasn’t sure as their DD is only 1 and not sure she counts as the two people out at a time thing given she’s in a pram and not actually walking. Also the info on that confused me too because it said households could walk together but then only 2 people? We don’t get it. That kind of leads on to the next one...
  1. Friend B has recently split up from her partner. She is now living alone with 3 children. How is she meant to take them all out if children count as one of the yep people?! None of them are old enough to be left at home alone or go out by themselves.

These made my brain hurt so I said I’d see if anyone on here knew...

The two people rule is to give the police powers to break up any type of group. If they live together; they are fine.
