Question for anyone who works in banking re requesting 0% interest on cc and reduction on car loan

Hi,
Due to the whole CV I'm on half wages until who knows when. 3 months anyway until then I will be moved to social welfare only.

I intend to call my bank today and ask them to reduce my interest to 0% .
I also will phone my car payment company and ask for something- a reduction in payment? What's reasonable to ask and what will companies be open to granting?

I'd welcome advice from anyone working in this area or anyone who has requested the same.

I’d think you’re more likely to get capital repayment holiday than interest reduced to nil.

You just need to be honest about the situation: they will assess your affordability and come up with a plan.
