Would it be selfish to call your local GP to ask for support for severe anxiety. Or would you just try to work through it?

Hi. I have been asking myself the same question. I think the answer is yes and let them decide what the right answer is.

But also ask you self are you doing all the self help that we are supposed to do. This is so hard for me as I just get paralysed with fear and can't do anything how small.

If it is severe anxiety op then you are ill and need help. Don't feel bad about needing help.

personally i am trying to work through it.I think going to the doctors will make it worst the very idea that's the first place people who potentially sick with this virus go scares me.The last thing i want is to bring it home to my kids.

At the mo the food shortage and the difficulty in getting food is not helping .This whole lockdown thing kept me awake for hours last night. Now i feel stressed, exhausted and my anxiety is driving me nuts .I think i will try to distract myself with either gaming or chores that usually helps
